Memoirs of a Geisha
As a young girl she was sold to a geisha house where she is forced into servitude. As a young girl she meets a man and it changes her view on life. From that moment forward she tries to become a geisha. Unfortunately, due to her home’s dynamic she is required to live differently. This film takes us through her life and the struggles or triumphs she encounters. She’s is given the opportunity to alter the course of her life. Does she succeed in this venture? I enjoyed this film for its beautiful colors and rich culture.
